YOURSELF
An apparent small-minded person recently quipped
in a phone conversation with me, "Who owns three cars at one time?" My answer was, "Are you serious?
I own more than 20. Will you ask Jay Leno that question? No you won't. You won't DARE ask him because he is White
and in your mind he is SOMEBODY and thusly you infer by daring to make such a ridiculous statement to me, that I am NOBODY.
You are crazy."
After all is said and done, the bottom line is
simple: Who defines who you are, what you are about and where you go but YOU?
If you allow other narrow-minded, biased, regardless of their degrees OBVIOUSLY unintelligent people determine your limitations
based on who they see you as then you are indeed NOBODY and deserve all they think you are due. In other words, you
deserve nothing worth having including being disrespected and treated poorly. They said it so it must be true.
I have a car salesman friend named Clifford Hatch who put it best. He said "You can
call me a Nigger all you want but I'll be damned if I let you treat me like one!"
